Google opens AI search to more users and adds new Wallet feature

Google is making exciting changes for its users! As of March 25, 2025, the company is letting more people try its “Search AI Mode” for free. This feature, which helps answer tricky questions with smart, AI-powered responses, was first available only to Google One AI Premium members who pay $19.99 a month.

Now, anyone who signed up on the waitlist can use it too. On the same day, Google also shared news about Google Wallet. It’s getting support for something called the Aliro standard, which makes smart locks easier to use with your phone or smartwatch. This update, coming with Play Services version 25.11, uses tech like NFC to let you unlock doors securely and simply.
