Android 15 Easter Egg hints at a sweet surprise!

Last week, Google rolled out a new Android 14 QPR3 Beta 1 for Pixel devices. The build brought some notable changes and the Circle to Search feature for the Pixel 8 series. However, Android 14 QPR3 Beta 1 also brings a sweet surprise, which could be the Easter Egg of Android 15.

Developer Preview of Android 14 OS initiated by Google in February 2023. As the Android 14 QPR3 Beta 1 comes with a revamped Easter Egg, it hits that the Android 15 could be coming later this month. The new Easter Egg also brings Android 15’s internal codename, as well as a slightly redesigned logo.

New features and changes that Google will test within the QPR3 Beta 1 will be deployed with the June 2024 Pixel Feature Drop. Meanwhile, Pixel users on the Beta channel would also receive these upgrades during the Android 15’s Beta activity.

Coming back, the next version of Android OS is expected to introduce its own unique minigame. It will be interesting to see what Google has in its bag for Pixel users for 2024. Meanwhile, GenAI advancements will likely take center stage for Pixel’s next major Android upgrade.

Google recently announced that its AI chatbot Bard has been replaced by Gemini. The company has also launched an application for Android devices, which is currently available in the US only. Outside countries will likely get access to the new AI app gradually later this month.
