Created by Google in partnership with Samsung, Circle to Search is a new way to search for anything. To promote the Circle to Search feature debuted with the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung embellished the clear skies above Table Mountain in Cape Town with circles.

Samsung made a bold and engaging move drawing circles in the sky to mark the launch of its new flagship lineup – the Galaxy S24 series. Thanks to Google for its Circle to Search feature, now, with a simple gesture, you can circle what you are curious about and get more information right where you are.

Following the debut with the Galaxy S24 series last month, Google’s Circle to Search feature has been expanded to the Pixel 8 series. It should be noted that vendors other than Samsung and Google will only be able to deploy it in their skin after October 2024.

Taking the message to the skies

Press and hold the home button on the screen to enable Circle to Search, and use your finger to draw a circle around text to search for it on Google. You never have to leave whatever app you’re on to do it as Circle To Search can help you quickly identify items in photo or video.

For instance, if you see an item of clothing on Instagram that catches your eye, but the brand was not tagged. Just press the home button or navigation bar on your device to activate Circle To Search and just like that, your curiosity is satisfied.
