Gemini takes over Bard in Google Messages
As Bard was renamed Gemini, the change is also getting implemented in Google Messages. In a recent development, tipster AssembleDebug spotted that Gemini is taking over Bard in Google Messages.
Earlier, it has been revealed that Google Messages is adding Bard AI. The company aimed to bring artificial intelligence capabilities such as smart replies, generative responses, and summarization to the Messages app.

Google says Gemini is its most advanced and capable language model. As Bard already become Gemini in various parts of the world, the company is preparing to expand this change across services.
For Google Messages, Bard is internally replaced with Gemini branding. A future update of the app will make this change noticeable to general users as it’s currently only possible through enabling flags from the root.
Apart from this, it was just revealed that Google Messages is preparing to bring a double tap to react feature. Strings found in the code indicate that the company is preparing to combine a Telegram-like reaction feature with Messages.
