Hold No More: Android testing ‘Talk to a Live Representative’ feature
Google Pixel smartphones come with many time-saving and smart features. Hold for me is one of those. Meanwhile, Google is reportedly testing an AI-powered Hold for me-like “Talk to a Live Representative” feature for non-Pixel Android phones.
According to dev MishaalRahman, Google is testing a “Talk to a Live Representative” feature for Android devices. Using it, you can connect to a company’s customer service line, as it stays on hold on your behalf until a representative connects to the call.

While the feature is in development, you can try accessing it in the Google app’s Search Labs option. If it’s available, you can “request a call” for specific customer service search results. As of now, limited businesses are supported by this intelligent support feature.
The Hold for me feature, exclusively available on Pixel phones, uses a smart assistant to listen to the hold music and automated messages. When you are put on hold and a human voice comes on the line, you’ll receive a notification to resume the conversation.
