Google officially launched the Android 15 operating system. Following its tradition, Google announced two Developer Preview updates for Android 15, followed by around 5 Betas for its Pixel phones.

Seeing the official unveiling of the new Android OS, you may have wondered about testing the new features. As always, Google is pushing the Android 15’s Developer Preview to its own Pixel phones.

Pixel devices that are eligible for the Android 15 update support the Developer Previews. While the DP channel is aimed at app developers and creators, the Public Beta may be released by April 2024.

If you prefer having a stable and reliable user experience, we prefer not to switch to Android 15’s Developer Preview. Until the Beta opens, the OS will get more new features that are in development, so it’s worth waiting!

If your device such as Samsung Galaxy isn’t on the list, don’t fret just yet. As the year progresses, Android 15 will be available on other phones and tablets. Various Android vendors will also open the Public Beta around I/O 2024.
