Next Wear OS Samsung Watch will pack Galaxy AI features

The Galaxy S24 series is the first Samsung product that comes with artificial intelligence capabilities. Now, Samsung Mobile President TM Roh confirmed that Galaxy AI will be available in select wearable (watch) devices in the near future.

Dr Roh confirmed that Samsung is exploring ways to expand the use of Galaxy AI beyond smartphones. The wearable lineup is unquestionably an excellent path for the expansion of AI. It can be speculated that the next Wear OS Samsung Watch – Galaxy Watch 7 – will bring Galaxy AI.

Apart from the new Wear OS version, Samsung’s Watch 7 and Classic will use AI to enhance digital health and unlock a whole new era of expanded and intelligent health experiences. The next smartwatch lineup is expected to be unveiled in July this year alongside the new foldables.

Following the release of new wearables, the South Korean tech giant may expand some of the Galaxy AI features to older smartwatches such as the Galaxy Watch 6 as well as Watch 5 and Watch 4. It will be interesting to see how Samsung redefines health through AI in new wearables.
