The Galaxy Ring is currently in the prototype production stage and is expected to enter mass production in the second quarter. The company could offer it in around 8 different sizes, with a launch expected in July 2024.

Apart from Samsung, Apple is also growing the digital healthcare market as a growth engine, focusing on smart rings as devices to improve the accuracy of health indicators and enhance health and wellness.

The current leader in the smart ring market is the Finnish healthcare company Oura. Its products focus on healthcare features such as sleep and heart rate measurement, however, it hasn’t yet achieved significant adoption.
