Samsung poaches Google AI expert for AGI chip development in the US
Samsung established an AGI (general artificial intelligence) semiconductor development organization in Silicon Valley, US. Notably, the leader of this organization is Senior VP Woo Dong-hyuk, a former Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) developer at Google.
The South Korean tech giant has started developing the next-gen AI chip, which will serve as the brain for AI computation. To develop AGI chips that think and act like a human, a special research organization was established in the US, and the best experts in the field were recruited.
