Google Keep will soon get lock screen note-taking support

Google Keep is one of the most used note-taking Android apps available on the Play Store. Seems like, Android is testing more advanced features and lock screen note-taking support for the Google Keep app.

The application has been testing its ability to be assigned as Android’s default “note-taking” app for months. Besides, Google Keep also has some upcoming features behind the code, indicating support for lock screen note-taking.

Google Keep 5.24 update teases features like enhanced stylus support and lock screen access for recent notes are coming soon. Through the Developer Options, you can force the note-taking role in Android 14 to be enabled.

The Keep app can be assigned as the default note-taking app as well as you can see lock screen shortcut. As Google continues to enhance Android applications, Keep would soon receive a major upgrade, included with new features.
