Google aims to repeat 10 million Pixel shipments streak in 2024
Google has achieved a major milestone of shipping 10 million Pixel phones for the first time in 2023. Beyond that, Google aims for another 10 million Pixel smartphone shipments in 2024.
According to NikkeiAsia, Google sets a target of over 10 million shipments of Pixel phones in 2024. The company seeks to repeat the streak of 2023, with sales reaching double digits (in million) for the first time.

The company is also aiming to begin Pixel smartphone production in India by the next quarter. It’s part of taking the production facility away from China and Vietnam, for supply chain resilience.
“Google reached a milestone last year for its Pixel phones and it has set an ambitious goal of [shipping] another 10 million units in 2024,” another source with direct knowledge told Nikkei Asia.
Seems like Google’s decision to move part of its Pixel phone production to Vietnam was prompted by the US-China trade war. Notably, Samsung also has two manufacturing hubs outside of China, in Vietnam and India.
