Google Chrome gets ‘Help Me Write’ AI-powered writing tool
Google Chrome is rolling out Help Me Write, which will be available in any text box on the web. The company is offering this Gen AI feature to any website on the internet for Google Chrome.
Our readers in the US can now access the AI-powered Help Me Write feature in Google Chrome M122. While ChromeOS support remains uncertain, it can be accessed in the Chrome browser on macOS and Windows.

Do note that Google refers to Help Me Write as an “experimental writing AI aid.” It’s available as a text box (similar to ChatGPT and Gemini chatbot) to write in on websites accessed in Google’s Chrome web browser.
To enable this experimental feature, click the three-dot menu, select settings, and find the Experimental AI page. Once done, simply click to enable Help Me Write or disable it anytime afterward.
Example Prompt: “Write a request to return a defective bike helmet that has a line crack despite not being stated as covered in the product warranty.” Check the screenshot below to see what the feature generated in return to prompt.
