Google Photos ‘Stacks’ feature rolling out for Android users widely
Google Photos app’s Photo Stacks feature is now widely rolling out for Android users. Back in November, the application initiated the release of this much-needed function, shortly after debuting on iOS.
According to the info, Google Photos v6.71 for Android brings an auto-grouping Stacks feature. Once updated, you will be able to find an overflow menu next to the first checkmark in the Photos grid.

Using the newly added tool, “Stack similar photos” can be quickly turned on/off. Besides, the app also offers an alternative to pinching in/out on the photo grid with a Layout picker: Comfortable, Day, and Month.
If you don’t get the new feature even after updating the Photos app to its latest build, try force-stopping the app and then reopen it. This quick trick enhances the chance of your handset to combine the Stacks tool.
