The South Korean tech giant doesn’t want to be involved in marketing the Galaxy Fit 3 in the US. As the wearable device is just a health tracker and lacks the most useful monitoring features, it came as a market-specific product.
The Galaxy Fit 3 is packed with 4 cm AMOLED screen with 16M color depth and 256 x 402 pixel resolution. It has a handful of sensors including Accelerometer, Barometer, Gyro Sensor, Optical Heart Rate Sensor and Light Sensor.“Samsung looks holistically across our product portfolio and bundling optimal devices together that align with the market trends and needs for each region,” a Samsung rep told Android Central.
Under the hood, the Fit 3 packs 16 MB memory and 256 MB storage to load faces and some basic features. As it doesn’t use Wear OS, Samsung notes on its official site that it runs FreeRTOS.
