Google Messages integrates Gemini AI on Android
Google launched various new Android and Wear OS features at MWC 2024. One of the major announcements includes the integration of Gemini (formerly Bard) AI chatbot into Google Messages on Android.
According to the info, Gemini AI integration in Google Messages will be available in Engish in certain markets. The company will begin pushing it on the Google Messages app’s Beta channel for Android consumers.

The Gamini AI chatbot will also be available in French for users in Canada. The list of eligible markets hasn’t been published, but we expect it to be first rolled out in markets like the United States and Canada.
Once available, the Google Messages app will be able to chat with Gemini to draft messages, brainstorm ideas, plan events, or simply have a fun conversation without leaving the app.
