Samsung Galaxy S24 getting first Google Play System Update
Samsung Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra are getting their first Google Play System Update.
The Galaxy S24 series was announced back in January this year. The devices have received their first software update from Samsung, which included the latest security patch as well as significant enhancements across the camera and display functionalities.

Since its debut, the Samsung Galaxy S24 series has been stuck on the July 2023 Google Play System Update version. However, MishaalRahman revealed that Google pushed the first Play System update to Samsung’s Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra smartphones.
Google’s Pixel smartphones, on the other hand, are sequentially receiving the February 2024 Google Play System update. Meanwhile, the company is expected to upgrade mid-range Android 14 smartphones with faster AV1 video codec.
After being stuck on the July 2023 Google Play System Update for so long, the January 2024 GPSU is finally rolling out for Samsung Galaxy devices like the Galaxy S24!
Meanwhile, the February 2024 GPSU is slowly rolling out for some Pixel users.
