Android’s Gemini AI can now access/create Google Calendar events
Gemini AI on Android gets support to access and create Google Calendar events through voice commands. Since the initial announcement, Google has been continuously extending the accessibility of the Gemini Android app.
Google Calendar events can now be accessed through Gemini AI, and you can create new ones with just voice commands. Commands like “show me my calendar” or “do I have any upcoming calendar events” will now work.
Following the voice command, Gemini displays events from the Calendar application. At the same time, the command to create a new event allows you to give it a final check and finish the task with the Create it button.

To be noted, Google Calendar is rolling out this feature gradually. All Android phones may not have access to it right now. As expansion progresses, the company will expand the availability of this feature to more consumers.
