Google Contacts widget to display last sent message
Google Contacts app will soon upgrade the home screen widget functionality to display the last sent message. Last year, the application added Material You widgets, which are now preparing a nifty upgrade.
9to5Google discovered that the Google Contacts widget will show that person’s last sent message. The app’s version is 4.26.x details this upcoming ability, which will be activated by granting notification access.
The widget’s description mentioned, “see and respond to the latest messages from your contacts.” Meanwhile, the additional ability to the app’s widget is yet to be distributed among the public, as rollout expected to begin soon.
