Google Pixel Camera v9.2.113 brings back Photo Sphere mode

Google just rolled out the Pixel Camera version 9.2.113.604778888.19 update, bringing back Photo Sphere mode on some older Pixel devices. It’s worth noting that the feature came back on models that previously lost access to it.

The Photo Sphere mode has reappeared in the Pixel Camera app on the Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 7 Pro. Their standard models may have also added the mode to capture 360-degree photos in a single frame.

Following the debut of the Pixel 8 series, Google Camera removed the Photo Sphere feature. As the latest models didn’t bring the Photo Sphere feature out of the box, it’s probably not made for these handsets.

This Pixel Camera feature works like before, requiring users to move their camera around to avoid poorly stitched images carefully. It also has five different types of shots: vertical, wide angle, fish eye, 360, and horizontal.
