WhatsApp develops Chat Info UI for chats originating from third-party
WhatsApp has reportedly developed a new UI (user interface) for chats originating from third-party. Recently, it was discovered that developers are working on a chat interoperability feature to comply with new EU regulations.
With the latest Beta for Android, WhatsApp deployed a third-party Chat Info UI. The app will display the default profile photo and the third-party app name from which the chat originated WABetaInfo reports.

As you can see in the image embedded below, the UI displays a third-party chat with an Instagram account. However, it won’t be supported as a third-party chat application on WhatsApp interoperability feature.
It should be added that users will be in control over which apps can communicate with their WhatsApp account. Third-party chats within WhatsApp will come with certain limitations in terms of features.
The feature is currently under development and will be available in Europe in the future.
