Firefox Nightly rolling out an enhanced tablet interface on Android. The web browser is finally picking up a much-needed redesign, including a new tab bar for smoother navigation, via AndroidPolice.

Sören Hentzschel discovered the tab bar for Android tablets within the Secret Settings option inside Firefox Settings. Within Firefox Nightly, you need to enable the new tab bar through the Secret Settings pane.

While the tweaked tab bar isn’t functional for now, it’s a significant upgrade towards the arrival of the Android channel. The app’s functionality like drag and drop for browser tabs is currently unavailable.

Since the large-screen UI-optimized Firefox version is under development, users must wait until a public release. Developers shouldn’t make users wait for longer anymore, with expectations rising for an imminent debut.
