YouTube PiP mode is available for free in Europe: Report

YouTube is expanding PiP mode availability to Europe. A new report indicates that more consumers outside the US getting access to the platform’s picture-in-picture mode.

PiP is a quite useful feature that extends your productivity. Google Pixel users can continue to use their preferred app and feature along with playing a YouTube video on a smaller overlapped screen.

Platforms like X already offer PiP on Android devices. However, Google kept it limited to YouTube users in the US only. Things might finally change as there are signs that the feature is expanding its availability.

Notably, some users on Reddit confirmed to have access to PiP on their YouTube app. It has been noted that they didn’t have YouTube Premium, which unlocks picture-in-picture mode.
