Samsung will launch new Galaxy A series smartphones on March 11, 2024 in India. The company is expected to launch Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 with pro-grade features, but they miss 7 years of updates support.

The South Korean tech giant teased some of the key features of the Galaxy A55 and A35, revealing the software support, which isn’t 7 years, like the Galaxy S24 series, but it’s 4 years of OS and 5 years of security updates.

Google launched the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro in October 2023, which bring support for 7 years of OS upgrades. Similarly, Samsung’s Galaxy S24 lineup of smartphones also offers 7 years of software support.

Last year, Samsung’s Galaxy A54 and Galaxy S23 series aligned the same in terms of software support. It rendered flagship buyers disappointed as 4 OS support is being offered to mid-range and even budget phones too.
