Gboard app bug ruining typing experience for some

Gboard by Google is a widely used keyboard application on Android devices. The Gboard app brings many great features, but a critical bug is ruining the typing experience due to tiny window appearances or small fonts.

Per reports via 9to5Google, the Gboard app reported having a severe bug, resulting in a small font size or a tiny keyboard. The problem isn’t the same on all models; some users reported small font sizes and some tiny keyboards.

The height of the Gboard keyboard is either changed or the fonts (letters) have drastically shrunk. The numeric row that lets feed numbers in the text field became way too short, which is even difficult to read.

Icons for the various Gboard functions, including voice typing, in the suggestions strip have also been impacted. The bug also triggers a floating keyboard and shrinks it down to a very small square, which is not usable.

Some users claim that this Gboard issue can be fixed by simply rebooting your device. If the problem doesn’t disappear, you can clear the Gboard app cache and force stop so it can stop all of its activities.
