Google Play Store will let you install multiple apps simultaneously

Google Play Store appears to be in the final phase of testing the ability to enable the installation of multiple apps simultaneously. X user AssembleDebug discovered that the official Android app market is testing this major feature for a future release.

According to the info, Google is testing a multiple app installation feature with Play Store version 40.0.13. The upcoming feature is currently disabled but can be accessed on rooted Android smartphones with the use of a handful of flags.

It has been noticed that the Play Store will add this upgrade in the future. Meanwhile, it will be limited to installation of new applications that are not already installed. The updates section might continue to pick and update apps one by one – at least initially.

Apart from this, the parallel install will be capped at two installations. This means, you can download two apps simultaneously, while the latter app installation will begin after one of the already running processes completes on the Play Store.
