The March 2024 security patch started rolling out to the Galaxy S23 series today. This development left Samsung Galaxy S23 users disappointed because they were speculating about One UI 6.1 alongside.
Well, Samsung seems committed to its words of bringing the One UI 6.1 update to the Galaxy S23 series in March 2024 itself. Korean community moderator reiterated this major update will be released soon with a March 2024 security patch.
SammyFans reports that the One UI 6.1 update for Samsung’s Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra will include the March 2024 security patch in South Korea. It indicates that the company will release this update anytime in March for Galaxy S23 models on its home turf.
Mod says the company usually updates the Galaxy S series every three months to ensure up-to-date security in Korea. If critical security issues are identified, updates are released regardless of schedule. Likewise, the release date for One UI 6.1 may differ based on location, carrier, and region.
