Switch from Apple iPhone to Android getting way more easier!

Apple is working to make it easier to switch from iPhone to Android because of the EU. A document (via TheVerge) outlining Apple’s compliance with the Digital Markets Act also announced plans to let iPhone users uninstall Safari and change the default navigation app.

The iPhone maker is working on a more “user-friendly” way for you to transfer your data to a “non-Apple phone” by fall 2025. Besides, there will also be a way to transfer data between browsers on the same iOS device, which is set to go live in late 2024 or early 2025.

In addition, you’ll also be able to change the default navigation app [in EU] by March 2025. The DMA also requires the US tech giant to allow uninstallation of its famous web browser – Safari. This will be available in European countries by the end of this year.
