Qualcomm could soon introduce the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. This upcoming SoC will power future Android flagships. It would take over as a new naming lineup over the conventional Snapdragon 8+ segment.

Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is expected to be a slightly tweaked variant of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 launched later last year. Meanwhile, AndroidAuthority believes that it would sit down below the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy.

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 could boast a Cortex-X4 prime core clocked at 3.01GHz, 4 Cortex-A720 performance cores clocked at 2.61GHz, and 3 Cortex-A520 efficiency cores clocked at 1.84GHz, plus Adreno 735 GPU.

As the AI Phone era is getting popularized dramatically, Qualcomm may be focussing on some AI upgrades for the next Snapdragon. The Chinese account’s translation indicates that the 8s Gen 3 could be capable of carrying AI features.
