Samsung just introduced its 2024 lineup of premium Galaxy A smartphones. The latest Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 ship with the Android 14-based One UI 6.1 operating system – the same as the Galaxy S24 series.

The Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 will continue to benefit from up to four generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades and five years of security updates. It makes the 7-year update policy exclusive to Galaxy flagships.

Galaxy AI, which is the spotlight of this year’s Galaxy S series flagships, isn’t available in the latest Galaxy mid-rangers. This means, the next-gen foldable phones, scheduled for H2 release, will be equipped with AI features.

Samsung claims both devices come with extensive security features, as well as new photography capabilities inspired by Galaxy’s flagship camera innovations and a stunning display that adjusts to users’ surroundings.

In addition, the Galaxy A55 5G and A35 5G offer incredible photography capabilities, including features such as optical image stabilization and video digital image stabilization that keep photos and videos crisp.
