Notification history is an excellent feature. With the December Feature Drop, the feature got broken for some users. Meanwhile, Google has fixed the Android Notification history feature on Pixel devices running Android 14.

AndroidPolice reports that Android’s broken Notification history feature was fixed following the March 2024 Feature Drop. Previously, the entries in the Notification history tab were not redirecting to the corresponding app/function.

Thankfully, the patch seems to have deployed on all Pixel models, as verified by AndroidPolice. While there’s no specific mention in the changelog, Google has found the flaw and patched it on all affected Pixel devices.

Notification History Feature: When activated, it will show you a section of “recently dismissed” notifications that gives you all the details you would expect to see in the notification shade itself, followed by another section called “Last 24 hours,” which collects older notifications on a per-app basis.
