Google Photos v6.74 brings manual categorization for documents

Google Photos app for Android v6.74.0.612653301 is bringing a manual categorization feature for documents. Last month, it was reported that Google is testing the ability to manually categorize images in the Documents section.

With the Google Photos manual categorization feature, users will be allowed to change the category of documents. Since the beginning, the application has been automatically categorizing images of documents.

Meanwhile, changes in categorization options in Google Photos are likely a server-side update. This means, the company will gradually expand the availability of the new functionality to compatible devices.
