Pixel Launcher is the default home screen launcher on Google’s Pixel phones and tablets. Following the update, Pixel users will be able to turn their phone’s default search engine from Google to other available options.

To be noted, the search engine preference selected by Launcher will be applicable on the search bar on the home screen. Pixel phones have a Google search bar at the bottom of the home screen, which is not removable at all.

After bringing this ability to the browser and Android system, the home screen is also getting facilitated. The company is notifying users about the new Search Engine Selector feature with a pop-up notification by Android.
