Google app revamps AI Search Labs design
Following the launch of AI features, the Google app added a dedicated section for experimental features. In a recent development, Google brought a major design upgrade to the Search Labs of the Google app on Android.
The upgraded Search Labs design of the Google app now has an intuitive graphical clip to welcome the user. Hitting the downward arrow takes the user to AI experiments such as SGE, generative AI in Search.
Later on, there’s another section that lets users explore the latest experiments. Lastly, there’s a newsletter option so you can subscribe for email notifications for updates and a feedback tool for Search Labs.
Each experimental service can be explored further by entering the dedicated page. The company has made great use of text and graphical assets so you can seamlessly learn about the functionality and enable/disable it at a glance.
It’s a server-side rollout, meaning it might not be available on all models immediately. Keep your phone’s Google app updated to the latest version through Play Store and try restarting the device on completion of the pending install.
