Galaxy Ring to be your digital nutritionist with Samsung Food
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Ring will be integrated with Samsung Food. This combination will make Galaxy Ring act as a digital nutritionist to the owner, thanks to Samsung Food which delivers recipes and meal plans.
First teased at Galaxy Unpacked earlier this year, Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy Ring at MWC 2024. It’s expected that the new kind of wearable product will hit market shelves sometime in July this year.
It’s reported that Samsung aims to promote the digital nutrition feature (comprising the creation of a diet plan) of Galaxy Ring by integrating it with the Food platform.
A Samsung official explained (translated):
Samsung Food creates a personalized menu through Galaxy Ring, and Samsung Food, which is linked to a Samsung refrigerator equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) vision, analyzes the ingredients in the refrigerator and recommends ready-to-cook foods and recipes.
The cooking values of the customized recipe are sent directly to the Samsung oven, so the user does not need to set the cooking temperature or time separately, and missing ingredients can also be delivered through the Samsung e-Food Center.
