Google will soon roll out a floating bottom bar to the Google Keep app on Android. X user AssembleDebug discovered that Google Keep version 5.24.x has some code changes to enable a floating bottom bar.

Looks identical to Google Chat, the Google Keep app’s floating bottom bar is a pill-shaped container. It has an oblong button for creating a new note at the center and is flanked by a New list and a New drawing featuring a new icon.

Google Keep’s new bottom bar is themed by Dynamic Color with an inner button that is darker. Besides, the app has also removed the New audio note and New photo note features.

The redesign has yet to be rolled out to the public.
