T-Mobile released an Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 update to the OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, and 8T in the US. This major release comes as the last platform upgrade for smartphones.

The carrier has initiated the Android 14 update rollout for OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, and 8T, which means, more users having these devices will likely receive the OxygenOS 14 update soon.

Since OxygenOS 14 has just started to roll out for the T-Mobile-locked OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, and the OnePlus 8T, carrier-unlocked models have already received the Android 14-based OxygenOS upgrade in previous weeks.

OnePlus won’t provide major upgrades to these devices anymore, but new security patches may be released for a few months. Similarly, US carriers who sold OnePlus flagships should also push patches for the remaining lifecycle.
