Samsung Galaxy S24 April 2024 Update: Instant Slow-mo, Nightography, Expert RAW and more

Samsung started releasing the April 2024 update for the Galaxy S24 series. The software includes April 2024 security patch along with improvements to camera functions such as Nightography, Text Clarity, and more.

April 2024 update for the S24 series improves key camera functions. The company detailed changes including improved tones in Nightography, text clarity in Photo mode, upgrades to Expert RAW, and more.

Samsung’s Expert RAW will get a new update through the Galaxy Store, which will deploy improvements for S24 series. Besides, the Instant Slow-mo is also getting upgraded with support for small-size videos of 400 x 400 pixels.

Here’s everything new the update has:

1. Improved the tone of night scenes.
2. Improved low-light contour and color expression in the Expert RAW app.
   • This will be improved through an update to the Expert RAW app, and we will announce the schedule later.
3. Improved text clarity when using Zoom in Photo mode.
4. Added 480×480 resolution to support Instant Slow-mo in even smaller video sizes.
