Samsung US revealed some fan-favorite features of One UI 6.1 and Galaxy AI. The Galaxy S24 series introduces many Galaxy AI-powered features and tools for enhanced productivity and ease of access.

The company today announced the One UI 6.1 update starting to roll out on 2023 flagships starting tomorrow. The most useful features from Galaxy AI are headed to the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Tab S9 series, and Galaxy Z Flip/Fold 5.

Meanwhile, the WiFi variants of the Tab S9 series won’t support the Live Translate feature due to hardware limitations. In addition, Samsung’s flagship killer – Galaxy S23 FE is said to be unsupported by the Instant Slow-mo feature.

In the US, here are the fan-favorite features so far:

Circle to Search:

Circle to Search with Google revolutionized the way users search, helping it become the most widely used AI feature amongst Galaxy S24 users. It allows them to learn more about almost anything on their screens quickly with a simple gesture, without having to switch apps.

Live Translate:

Galaxy S24 users are also getting the most out of Live Translate, helping them remove communication hurdles with voice translations through the Phone app. Using it, users experience two-way, real-time voice and live caption translations of phone calls, minimizing the possibility for those lost-in-translation moments.

Generative Edit:

Users continue to take advantage of Generative Edit— Samsung’s powerful AI photo editing tool — when adjusting their favorite pictures. Users can resize or fill in the background of a shot after removing an object, like when a person walks into the frame.

Samsung Keyboard Chat Assist:

Another one of the most frequently used AI features is Chat Assist, which helps users seamlessly communicate on Samsung Keyboard. Chat Assist offers translation, writing style, or spelling and grammar tweaks. And since it’s built into the keyboard, they can use it across apps.
