WhatsApp officially launched the refreshed navigation bar on Android. The revamped user interface is now available widely for WhatsApp users internationally, bringing the most crucial toggles closer to your thumbs.

Meet the new navigation bar:

WhatsApp got a major design change, which brings the navigation bar to the app’s bottom. The first page consists of Chats, while the remaining three are Updates (status and channels), Communities, and Calls, respectively.

The navigation bar now displays large icons that are more visible and the toggle’s label is aligned below. It’s also possible to navigate through sections by swiping right and going back by swiping left from the pages.

Some users have also noticed Chat filters that can be used to display chats of certain categories such as All Chats, Unread Chats, and Groups. The feature to filter chats from the main section greatly enhanced the app’s UX.
