Google updates Android’s Circle to Search feature with an in-line translation feature. Select Google and Samsung flagships have recently received the vibrant search tool, which is now adding its first post-release feature.

Circle to Search in-line translation

Google announced in March that Circle to Search will receive new in-line translation support. Recent findings indicate that the latest Google app Beta version brings the ability to support Pixel and Galaxy models.

When you trigger the Circle to Search, a new floating action bar will appear. It will allow you to translate what’s displayed on the screen to the target language – it’s capable enough to detect the original language.

My Pixel 7 Pro running Android 14 QPR3 Beta 2.1 hasn’t received the toggle so far. Meanwhile, Mishaal notes that the Beta version of the Google app may bring it to your Pixel or Galaxy device if you want it before the Public release.

Apart from Galaxy S24 and Pixel 8 series, Circle to Search is available on Google’s Pixel 6, 6a, 6 Pro, Pixel 7, 7a, 7 Pro, Pixel Fold/Tablet as well as Samsung’s Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, S23 Ultra, Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5.
