Some Google Pixel devices have received the Find My Device network feature. While the feature has been rolled out to a limited number of users, a new input indicates that Google will officially launch the offline Find My Device for Android devices next week.

Allegedly, Google has sent an email to some Android users telling them that the long-awaited Find My Device network is launching in three days. The email states offline finding is arriving in three days; probably, it could go live on April 8, 2024.

With the new Find My Device network, you’ll be able to locate your devices even if they’re offline. You can also find any compatible Fast Pair accessories when they’re disconnected from your device.

This includes compatible earbuds and headphones, and trackers that you can attach to your wallet, keys, or bike.

You’ll get a notification on your Android devices when this feature is turned on in 3 days. Until then, you can opt out of the network through Find My Device on the web.

Earlier, Google and Apple teamed up to establish a standard for tracking of unwanted trackers along with AirTag. Google released ability to target unwanted trackers, Apple delayed it, ultimately pushing Google to halt its plan to release offline Find My Device.
