Android 15 will bring new ‘Home Controls’ screensaver

Android 15 update will bring a new Home Controls screensaver to your Pixel. The Public Beta Program is scheduled to commence this month, while Android expert MishaalRahman continues to dig for new features and changes.

The Android 15 update may allow you to access your Google Home devices through the new Home Controls screensaver. This change is hidden in the source code, which has been manually enabled by MishaalRahman (via AndroidAuthority).

• Stable release of the next Android will seed it under Settings > Display > Screen saver.

Home Controls screensaver will be displayed by the SystemUI app rather than Google Home itself. The new section is created to offer easier Google Home access to users, while other platforms would be required to create their own.

Interestingly, the screensaver won’t remain limited to Pixel devices. Android 15 update is expected to bring it to a wide range of Android devices (phones & tablets) across major manufacturers.
