Android’s Password Manager feature is getting the Family Sharing ability. Earlier this year, the company teased such a feature headed to Android’s native Password Manager. The rollout is finally taking place, allowing users to share a copy of their passwords with their loved ones.

As discovered by AndroidAuthority, the password-sharing feature currently appears in Android’s Google Password Manager with Google Play Services v24.20. It appears to be a server-side rollout as most users haven’t noticed the feature’s existence so far.

Receivers from your family group will get access to credentials in Password Manager as soon as you share with them. You can share credentials like website login username and password, application access details, etc., from your Google Password Manager.

Sharing credentials through Password Manager is limited to “accounts that are part of a family group” Notably, this feature hasn’t yet been rolled out on the web version of Chrome for Windows. Well, we will keep you updated with the latest developments on the matter.
