Google Pay is getting new features, expanding “buy now, pay later” options on more websites and the ability to secure card details with biometrics or a PIN. The company has officially revealed all the new features coming to Google Pay in its blog post.

First, Google Pay now displays a handy description of benefits in the card list so you won’t miss any benefits. The addition of the description functionality will offer details like cashback percentages or point multipliers for specific categories like travel.

Second, the platform is extending its BNPL (buy now, pay later) scheme to more websites. Users will benefit from third-party providers to split payments into installments.

Third, Chrome and Android users will now verify card details using fingerprint, face scan, or screen lock PIN. The company says that these features are gradually coming to all users, aimed at offering enhanced user experience.
