Samsung’s Galaxy S24 introduced an AI-powered Instant Slow-mo feature. Samsung is now preparing to give an HDR boost to Galaxy AI’s Instant Slow-mo feature. The moderator comment indicates HDR10+ support is coming to the feature with One UI 6.1.1.

According to the info, a Samsung moderator confirmed that support for HDR10+ on Galaxy AI’s Instant Slow-mo is on the way. This change will allow Galaxy S24 users to record videos in the higher-quality setting and apply Galaxy AI’s slow motion effect to it.

In addition, support for additional file types (such as .mov) will be included in the One UI 6.1.1. Just like the ease of editing offered right now, new tools will be accessible through the editing feature found within the Gallery app on supported Galaxy devices.

Apart from this, Samsung will also unlock the sharing function of Slow-mo videos. Tapping the “Share” button on any video with the Slow-mo effect will let users quickly send it out to other people. Users will most likely see the updates roll in during the One UI 6.1.1 software patch.
