Gmail now lets you choose your Toolbar Style

Gmail is trying out a new, simpler way to organize your buttons when you open emails. The app now lets you choose between a simple or advanced toolbar.

The simple toolbar offers basic actions like archive and delete, while the advanced toolbar includes additional options like snooze and labels. The simple toolbar is designed to offer a less cluttered interface. Users can switch between the toolbars at any time.

After receiving this feature, you will get a pop-up saying “Your new, simpler toolbar.” There will be bigger buttons for things you do a lot, like archive, delete, or move an email. Buttons you don’t use as often will be tucked away in a menu called “More.”

The old way of showing all the buttons at once is still available. If you don’t like the new way, you can easily switch back to the old button layout at any time.

This new way of organizing buttons is just starting to appear in Gmail, so you might not see it yet. Don’t worry, it will come to everyone soon!
