Google Pixel 9 Pro XL appeared on the Geekbench listing. The benchmark not only revealed the phone’s performance but also confirmed some key specifications.

According to the info, the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL will be equipped with a Tensor G4 processor. It has managed to score 1378 points in the single-core round and 3732 points in the multi-core segment.

The current scores are quite low compared to the Tensor G3 chip used in the Pixel 8 series. The Pixel 8 Pro scored 1,760 points in the single-core test and 4,442 in the multi-core test on Geekbench v6.

Pixel 9 Pro XL has an octa-core (unlike nine cores in Tensor G3) processor with a Komodo motherboard. It features four cores clocked at 1.95GHz, three cores at 2.60GHz, and one core at 3.10GHz.

Interestingly, the phone was running Android 14, while the Pixel 9 series would be upgraded to Android 15 before launch. Notably, the phone would come with 16GB RAM, while other memory configurations would be available too.

Tensor G4 could be the last chipset manufactured by Samsung Foundry. Google has reportedly switched to TSMC for the future Tensor chips. Reports say that Pixel 10’s Tensor G5 would be manufactured by TSMC on 3nm process.
