Upcoming Apple and Google phones will be equipped with Samsung’s best OLED display. The company is supplying its most advanced M14 OLED screens to Google and Apple for Pixel 9 series and iPhone 16 Pro models.

Korea’s ETNews claims that Samsung’s best OLED missing in Galaxy S24 Ultra will be seen in Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro and Google’s Pixel 9 series. The company’s S24 Ultra uses the M13 panel, which is a generation old now.

The report highlights that Google could use the M14 OLED panels made by Samsung. As far as the display technology is concerned, the higher the M number, the better quality the screen will be.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra uses the M13 panel, which would feel old after Google’s Pixel 9 unveiling. Samsung is the world’s largest display panel producer. It supplies screens to industry giants like Apple, Google, and more.

Meanwhile, the difference for end users might not be worth considerable. Google’s phone would have brighter and power-efficient displays, but optimized software and processing mainly impact the battery life.
