Google Pixel Watch 3 allegedly surfaced on FCC ahead of launch. The certification authority listed all four Pixel Watch 3 models that will be available for consumers.

According to FCC (via 9to5Google), the Google Pixel Watch 3 supports UWB (ultra-wideband) and 5GHz Wi-Fi. UWB is a significant upgrade over the previous generations which only support 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz.

The Pixel Watch 3 is expected to feature 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax this year. The lineup of four models includes two models with LTE connectivity and the other two with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

Model numbers GBDU9 and GG3HH were tested with a total of eight bands, while only five straps were reported for GGE4J and GRY0E. This could indicate the split between the expected 41 and 45 mm sizes.

Wear OS 5

Google’s upcoming smartwatch will come pre-installed with Wear OS 5. The company has been running the Developer Preview program, while Samsung is conducting its Beta activity on Galaxy Watch 4, 5, and 6.
