Remember the Pixel Battery widget you use to see your phone’s charge level? Well, it got a small but cool update. While the overall design remains the same, your phone’s battery bar now uses a different color compared to other connected devices in the widget. This makes it easier to instantly identify your phone’s battery status at a glance.

The latest Android 15 Beta 4 introduces a more detailed view of your phone’s battery health under Settings > System > Device diagnostics. Here’s what you can now access:

This tells you how many times your phone’s battery has gone through a full charge cycle (from 0% to 100% and back). You can also see the manufacturing date when you first started using your phone, and the original capacity of the battery when it was new.

Previously, this information was only available on the newer Pixel 8a and wasn’t as easily accessible on older Pixel models. This update brings these details to your fingertips for a more comprehensive understanding of your battery’s health.

As of Beta 4, this new access to detailed battery history might not be available on all devices yet, like the Pixel 8 or tablets. But keep an eye out for future updates.
